The Real Reason You Can't Stick to Anything (It's Not What You Think)
It's the middle of January.
And I'm willing to bet that resolution you made on New Year's Eve - the one that felt so full of hope when the clock struck midnight - is already dying.
Maybe it's on life support. Maybe you've already pulled the plug completely.
Here's what I need you to hear: You didn't fail because you're weak. You failed because nobody taught you how to build a foundation strong enough to hold the weight of real change.
Today, I'm going to show you how to build that foundation - using the goal that matters most: getting your life back from migraines.
The Pattern You Know Too Well
Here's what happens every single January:
You wake up on New Year's Day and declare: "This is it. This is the year everything changes."
You make promises:
"I'm going to lose weight"
"I'm going to exercise"
"I'm going to get rid of these damn migraines"
And for a few days, maybe even a couple weeks, you're on fire. You're doing the thing. You're making it happen.
And then life punches you in the face.
You get tired. Something goes wrong. You miss a day. Then two days. Then a week.
And suddenly it's February and you're right back where you started - staring at the ceiling at 2 AM, feeling like a failure, wondering why you can never stick to anything.
The Real Problem Nobody Talks About
Here's what nobody told you:
You weren't trying to drive somewhere. You were just... driving. No destination. No reason. No map.
And you can't arrive somewhere you never aimed for.
Most resolutions fail because we jump straight to the action without understanding what we actually want and why we want it.
We say "I want to get rid of my migraines" and then try to white-knuckle our way through random fixes without a clear destination or a compelling reason.
It's like getting in your car and just driving without knowing where you're going or why you're going there.
You might move forward for a little while, but eventually you run out of gas and give up.
You need a destination. You need a reason. And you need a map.
So let's build one.
The 4-Question Framework That Changes Everything
I'm going to teach you my 4-question framework - the exact one I use and my members use inside the Freedom From Migraines Method®.
These four questions will change everything. And if you answer them honestly - if you really dig deep and feel them in your bones - you'll finally understand why your resolutions keep failing and how to make this year different.
Question 1: What Do You ACTUALLY Want?
And I don't mean the bullshit surface answer.
I mean:What do you want so badly it makes your chest ache?
Most people say: "I want to be pain-free."
Okay. But why?
Because "pain-free" isn't a destination. It's a vehicle.
What does pain-free give you?
Close your eyes. Picture it.
Maybe it's standing in your kitchen on a Saturday morning, sunlight streaming through the windows, making pancakes with your daughter - and you're not squinting. You're not fighting nausea. You're not mentally calculating if you can make it through breakfast before you have to go lie down.
You're just... there. Fully there.
Or maybe it's saying YES when your best friend texts: "Girls' trip to the beach next month - you in?"
And instead of your stomach dropping, instead of immediately opening your calendar to check your cycle, the weather forecast, your stress level, your backup plans - instead of all that panic -
You just say yes.
That's what you actually want.
Not "pain-free."
You want your life back.
✍️ Write it down. The real thing. The thing that makes your throat tight when you think about it.
Question 2: WHY Do You Want It?
This is the part that's going to hurt. Because your "why" lives in the places you don't want to look.
Your why is in that moment three weeks ago when you had to cancel dinner with your friends again. And you saw it in their faces - that flash of "here we go again" before they said "No problem, feel better."
Your why is in the birthday party you missed. The work presentation you barely survived. The vacation you didn't book because you were too terrified to commit.
Your why is in your daughter's face when she stopped asking if you were coming to her soccer game because she already knew the answer.
Your why is lying in bed next to your spouse, both of you staring at the ceiling in the dark, and the distance between you feels like miles even though you're six inches apart.
Your why is the moment you looked in the mirror and didn't recognize the person staring back - exhausted, defeated, just trying to survive one more day.
That's your fuel.
The pain. The loss. The life you're missing while everyone else keeps living theirs.
I know it hurts to look at. But this is what's going to carry you through the hard days ahead.
✍️ Write it down. All of it. Let yourself feel it.
Question 3: What Do You NEED to Achieve It?
This is where most people crash and burn.
Because they don't know what they actually need. So they just start grabbing at everything.
More pills. More diets. More research at 2 AM. More willpower. More trying harder.
Let me tell you a story.
Imagine you're standing in an airport. You need to get from New York to Los Angeles.
You walk up to a plane on the tarmac. You climb into the cockpit. You've never flown before, but you've seen planes take off, and you’ve read books on flying, so how hard can it be?
You start pressing buttons.
Some lights turn on. Some gauges move. You have no idea what any of it means, but you're doing something, right? You're trying!
Would you take off in that plane?
Hell no.
Because you'd die.
You need a flight plan. You need fuel. You need navigation tools. You need someone who actually knows how to fly the damn plane.
So why are you doing that with your migraines?
Throwing supplements at the wall. Trying random elimination diets. Guessing at triggers. Hoping something sticks.
You don't need to try harder. You need a pilot. You need a flight plan.
You need someone who understands the hidden inflammation network that's hijacked your nervous system and knows exactly how to calm it down, step by step, in the right order.
You need the tools. The guidance. The map.
You can't white-knuckle your way to freedom. You need a system that actually works.
✍️ Write down what you actually need. Not what you think you should be able to do alone. What you actually need.
Question 4: What Will Your Life Look Like Once You Achieve It?
Now picture this:
You wake up tomorrow morning. And instead of lying there frozen, breath held, hand pressed to your forehead scanning for that telltale pressure -
You just get up.
You walk into the kitchen. You make coffee. You look out the window and think about your day ahead - not with dread, not with fear, not with a backup plan -
Just with possibility.
Your friend texts: "Dinner Friday?"
And you don't panic. You don't check the weather. You don’t count the days to your next cycle. You don't calculate how many rescue meds you have left.
You just say: "I'll be there."
You book the trip. The one you've been putting off for five years because you're terrified of being trapped on a plane, in a hotel, in a foreign country when a migraine hits.
You book it. And you go. And you're fully present for every single moment.
You show up at your kid's game. Not with sunglasses and an escape plan. Not counting down the minutes until you can leave.
You're just there. Cheering. Laughing. Living.
You go to bed at night and instead of that creeping dread - that low-level panic about tomorrow -
You just sleep.
This is what you're fighting for.
Not just "fewer migraines." Not just "less pain."
Your entire life. Fully lived. Finally yours again.
✍️ Write it down. See it. Feel it. Let yourself want it so badly it hurts.
You Don't Need to Climb the Whole Mountain Today
Now here's what I need you to understand:
You don't have to climb the whole mountain today.
You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to do all ten steps right now.
You just have to take the first one.
That's it.
Most people look at the mountain and think: "I can't do that. It's too big. I'm too tired. I'll fail anyway."
So they never start.
But you don't need to see the top to take the first step.
You just need to move.
Maybe your first step is finally admitting you can't figure this out alone.
Maybe it's deciding you're worth the investment - the time, the money, the energy.
Maybe it's just showing up to learn what's actually possible.
Pick one step. Just one. And take it today.
Your Invitation: See What's Actually Possible
If your resolution this year is migraine freedom - if you're finally ready to stop just surviving and start actually living -
I'm inviting you to join me this Thursday, January 22nd at 6:30 PM Eastern for a FREE Open House.
Right now through tomorrow, January 21st, I'm in the middle of my 8 Days of Giving where I'm giving away 8 powerful resources:
The Migraine Sensitivity Scorecard
The Toxic Triggers Ebook
The Sleep Restoration Protocol
The HRT Connection Guide
A month of anti-inflammatory recipes
The 10 biggest mistakes to avoid
The Complete Migraine Breakthrough® Reset
The electrolyte symmetry solution
But Here's the Problem With Resources
You can collect them all day long. You can download every PDF, save every article, bookmark every video.
But if you don't know HOW to use them, in what ORDER, and WHY they matter - they're just files on your computer going nowhere.
At Thursday's Open House, I'm pulling back the curtain.
You're going to see the process behind how it's actually possible to achieve migraine freedom.
Not the same old "avoid your triggers and manage your stress" advice that's never worked.
The real process. The one that addresses the hidden inflammation network keeping you trapped.
I'm going to show you exactly how those 8 resources work together - in the right order, at the right time - to get you to the ROOT CAUSE in a way that finally makes sense.
You'll see:
Which resource to start with based on YOUR situation
How they build on each other systematically
What your first 30 days would actually look like
Why everything you've tried before stopped working
This is your first step.
Your Resolution Doesn't Have to Die in January
Not this year.
You deserve your life back. And Thursday, I'm going to show you exactly how to get there.
