Deborah
Hello, I’m Carrie Lee, a registered nurse and national board-certified health and wellness coach with over a decade of experience helping women transform their health and lives. My journey into healthcare began in 2006, and I became a nurse in 2011. Along the way, I pursued advanced training in fitness, nutrition, and coaching, all driven by my passion for lifestyle medicine and sustainable wellness.
In 2016, I didn't see it coming. A complete shock to the system as I entered motherhood. In addition to having a background in nursing and wellness, I read many books that were meant to prepare me for the experiences, but nothing quite touched on the reality that came. I didn't recognize myself in many ways. And life wasn't pausing for me to catch up.
I didn't want to spend the present moments wrapped up in the struggle, so instead, I embraced the circumstances, and decided to experiment with all the information I had piled up over the years that would address the many areas of my life that needed some TLC.
This process was an integrative approach to unbecoming everything I thought I was supposed to be while transforming into a version of myself that exceeded all expectations.
My Philosophy
I believe in the power of lifestyle medicine, which means integrating healthy habits that complement prescribed medications and medical care under the guidance of a healthcare provider. For me, wellness isn’t about restrictive diets or quick fixes. It’s about building a lifestyle that honors who you are and brings you true fulfillment.
Why I Do This Work
Like many of the women I work with, I’ve faced my own health and weight challenges. After the births of my two daughters, I found myself needing to lose over 80 pounds—twice. It wasn’t a quick bounce-back in the first three months. The weight felt like a stage 5 clinger, refusing to budge easily. Through this journey, I experienced firsthand the importance of sustainable habits, patience, and compassion. Today, I help women who feel just as I once did, to feel their best and show up in their lives with confidence and purpose.
Empowering Change
As a mom, I am committed to showing up as the best version of myself, both for my daughters and for the women I coach. I want my daughters to grow up empowered to honor their own desires and know they can be true to themselves. And I bring that same intention to the work I do with clients. Weight loss is a benefit of our work together, but the journey is truly about finding fulfillment, redefining self-worth, and honoring the best in you.
If you’re ready to step into a life that feels like your own, I’d love to support you on your journey. Together, we can create a path that feels right for you, whether it involves weight loss, healthier habits, or rediscovering the person you’re meant to be.
